We then use a tinted lacquer instead of paint which offers a more durable finish, that will hold color much longer. We use clear lacquer as a top coat which is why our coating will not scratch off.
Our Kitchen Cabinet Painting Process
First, we mask off the work area thoroughly.
Next, we remove the Cabinet hardware And mark the cabinet doors to make re-assembly easier.
Then we set up a Filtered Fume Exhauster to Minimize Dust
After that we aggressively clean the cabinet surfaces to remove any oil, grease, dirt, contaminants, etc.
Then we make any needed repairs to the cabinets like filling chips, cracks, seams, etc.
Next Sand the cabinets as needed to prepare the surface for refinishing.
Then we apply the stain of your choice.
After that, we spray on our vinyl sealer.
Lastly we spray on our Pre-Cat Lacquer Top Coat
Once dry we Rehang the Cabinet Doors / Drawers and reinstall the Hardware.
Remove all the masking materials and clean up the work area.
Your Cabinets will be covered by our 10 Year Warranty.
